At Voyager, our mission is to help people comfortably explore the outdoors. To do this, we rent and sell campervans which create a more eco-friendly travel option than RVs or plane travel.

Voyager Campervans is headquartered in Minneapolis, and operates our rentals in 4 US cities. We’re looking for a hands-on City Manager who wants to continue the campervan revolution by helping manage our Minneapolis market. 

As the City Manager, you will execute with a consistent eye towards service quality, operational excellence, and the overall customer experience. You will report to the Operations Manager and work together to ensure every customer has an incredible experience in their Voyager Campervan.

Responsibilities

  • Meticulous cleaning of our fleet of campervans after each customer adventure
  • Work closely with our Operations Manager to ensure fleet is properly maintained
  • Record various metrics to better track our fleet
  • Do basic checks and walkthroughs of our campervans
  • Have linens washed at local laundromat
  • Meet with prospective customers to do walk throughs of our campervans


Experience/Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of vehicles (checking oil, fluid levels, air pressure, etc)
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic issues with the extensive resources you are given
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible work schedule with the ability to work most weekends
  • Commit to a few hours per week in the spring, and up to 20 hours per week in the summer
  • Over the age of 21

Voyager Campervans is headquartered in Minneapolis, and operates our rentals in 4 US cities (and we’re growing). We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager who wants to continue the campervan revolution by owning the operations, growth and execution for our rental markets across the US. 

As the Operations Associate, you will develop and execute operations plans with a consistent eye on service quality, operational excellence, and the overall customer experience. You will report to the CEO and work together to shape the vision and implementation of Voyager Campervans rental fleet. You will also contribute to the launch of new markets by developing operations playbooks, organizational capabilities, and advising on-the-ground execution.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations team in maintaining relationships with our city managers and addressing market-specific issues
  • Oversee daily operations for Voyager Campervans
  • Respond to customer inquiries
  • Put out the occasional “fire” 
  • Work closely with our city managers to ensure every vehicle is cleaned and maintained after each trip
  • Create playbooks, metrics, and contingency plans to govern day-to-day operations
  • Synthesize market feedback and recommendations for HQ business, product, and engineering teams
  • Build, maintain, and monitor reports, dashboards, and metrics to evaluate performance
  • Hire, manage and schedule shifts for the team of city managers


Experience

  • 2+ years of operations or strategy experience
  • Quantitative by nature and strongly focused on process improvement; comfort with spreadsheets and data analysis
  • Basic knowledge of vehicles (oil changes, checking fluid levels, air pressure, etc)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a get $#!t done attitude
  • Experience scaling an organization and managing people
  • Experience managing and working with team-members possessing a wide variety of skills and roles
  • Strong desire to advance and grow career
  • Experience working cross-functionally across organizations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
